oh, my love
so i have a few loves in my life. one is real madrid. they had a champions league game the other day. i wasnt able to watch it because i was at work. work really is interfering with my life. anyways, real won. they were looking true to form again. they have been struggling for awhile. raul and ruuuud did what they do best which is hang around the goal for scraps and finish them off. ive never thought either one was a very skilled striker, but they always seem to be in the right place at the right time. beckham also played well. for the record. im not happy he is coming to l.a. i care WAY more about real madrid than i do about the mls and i think beckham still has a lot to contribute to the game of soccer, and more specifically to real madrid. he plays really hard. sure he is also a sex icon and a marketing machine. he is really only a decent soccer player. dont get me wrong. he is good. just not nearly one of the best in the game right now. but he leaves it all out on the field which is what real needs right now. chemistry and for players to just put egos aside and play hard. anyways, they won. so im happy. they had a classic defensive breakdown at the end, but they at least got the win at home. which is so crucial. here is a video of some highlights.

The only reason that they won is because they were lucky enough to draw Bayern Munich. A team in a worse funk than Real. Cappello will probably be sacked at the end of the season and the world's worst management team will bring in some other sap and force him to work with a bunch of players that just don't gel.
All right, so that was a bit negative, but Real has serious problems right now. They are in danger of missing out on the top four spots in La Primera Liga. I think that they'll advance against Bayern but don't really expect much from them this year.
Yeah, and I think david beckham is hot.
